John sends in this picture of his Limited Sportsman that
was crafted out of nothing but hard work and a desire to give racing a
try. As John commented when he sent
in the picture,
“Raced in limited sportsman
1970-71. Had a set of torches, a welder, one car garage and no money”.
Isn’t that epitome of what made
racing back in the day so great? A guy who didn’t need a double stacker
trailer, huge sponsors or a Hendrick engine to go out, be competitive and
have fun?
